LO6: For the opening title I want a nice moving graphic to form and disappear in a simlar way the the girl's appearance in the moon. I could animate this by hand in photoshop however as I am pressed for time and I have made a new motion graphic content I have decided to work with another artist to create the moving title.
I contacted the motion graphic student, Lorenzo to get the project started, and sent him a link to the google drive and to the Beakus showreel as the opening indent is the style of movement I envisage for my title.

LO5: Lorenzo replied promptly and said that the style of the Beakus wasn't quite his style but he could try something else, simpler with a good font. I was open to alternative ideas so asked for an example test of what he had in mind.
I really liked the movement and style of the line and the colours. It is a cleaner version of what u had in mind but I think it will give the animation a polished feel to it. As this was the first time working with a motion graphic student I asked as to the pipe line as I had approved the style. The next stages would be creating the letters in Illustrator and then after effects to animate them.
Below is the font which I really liked as it fitted my specifications of simple curvy and clean. However I felt that it was too thin so making the corners a bit sharp, so I asked the line to be made a little thicker.
This version was a closer edit to what I wanted but a bit too thick so i asked to have it tonnes down a bit.
This is the version I green light. The next stage would be to animate it in after effects.
L06/7:The final comp was rendered out with an alpha so it could be superimposed on a background if I wanted to. Overall it was really easy to work with Lorenzo, form contacting him I had a moving title by the end of the day. I think the motion works really well with the 2D style of the girl forming and suites the animation overall.
